Men's Barbells
ManTechnical Specifications and Differences
This category features all men's Olympic barbells produced by Lacertosus®. Each model strictly adheres to IWF and IPF standards. An Olympic barbell is characterized by loading cylinders with a thickness of 50 millimeters, making them compatible with Olympic weights that have a 51-millimeter diameter hole. Men's Olympic barbells have specific measurements: a weight of 20 kilograms, a length of 220 centimeters, and a grip diameter between 28 and 29 millimeters. These characteristics distinguish them from women's barbells, which are lighter and shorter.
Adaptability to Disciplines
Variations of Olympic barbells are tailored for different disciplines. For example, the classic Olympic barbell lacks a central knurl, to prevent scratches during lifts. Conversely, Powerlifting barbells feature a central knurl to ensure optimal control during heavy squats. The knurling grade also varies based on the discipline, with medium knurling preferred for Cross Training and Weightlifting.
