Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift—yes, we’re obviously talking about Powerlifting and, more specifically, about Powerlifting barbells. These are barbells designed for executing deep squats with full range of motion, going below parallel. Barbells used for the bench press to build lean upper body mass, bringing the bar down to the sternum. And barbells for the classic Deadlift, finished in a fully upright position. To do all this, you need specialized barbells, different from Olympic ones. A Powerlifting barbell is built to handle very heavy loads, making it extremely tough and resistant to the most demanding lifts. The bar itself is made of stiff, rigid steel: unlike their Olympic lifting counterparts, powerlifters don’t want any whip or flex in the bar. Due to the points where the barbell makes contact with the athlete's body and the specific grip requirements, Powerlifting barbells also feature knurling that is closer together compared to Olympic bars. Here you can find bars that fully comply with IPF regulations: 29mm bar diameter, reference rings at 81cm, and a center knurl to support even the most intense squats. But on this page, you’ll find much more than just Powerlifting bars.
More than just Powerlifting Barbells
Our Men’s Elite Powerlifting Barbell was developed after 12 months of testing and feedback with athletes from the Italian National POWERLIFTING team (FIPL). But that’s just our crown jewel, the cherry on top—because when it comes to Powerlifting barbells, we aim to be second to none. Here you’ll also find technical bars in different sizes and lengths, ideal for practicing technique with bars that aren’t too heavy or too long. Want to change things up? Check out the Shrug Bar, designed for a completely different deadlift experience, or the Multitraining Bar, perfect for experimenting with a variety of grips. And that’s not all—you’ll also find everything that belongs in the world of barbells: collars to secure your bumper plates, available in basic spring versions or advanced competition models for a perfect lock. And of course, we couldn’t leave out the must-have Lacertosus® Barbell Jack, a true powerlifter’s best friend. This tool makes it quick, easy, and safe to load and unload your barbell, without wasting energy—so you can save your strength for the lifts that really count!
