The Powerlifting Calibrated Plates are manufactured with tight weight tolerances.
Each plate at the end of production is weighed individually and calibrated to the precise weight thanks to the intake of the exact material quantity inside the cavities visible on the back of he plate. The cavities are sealed after the calibration process in order for the extra weight not to be removed.

for each size the color complies with international IPF standards making these plates ideal for both training and competition, perfect in combination with the OB86-EPL barbell specific for Powerlifting and OCP-E collars.

Our plates are made by CNC machining and significantly increase the grip thanks to the epoxy powder coating, which offers long resistance over time

The Powerlifting Calibrated Plates are made in the standard sizes of PL: 1.25 - 2.5 - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 Kg, as per IPF regulation the 20kg and 25kg have an external diameter of 450mm. The whole range is compatible with Olympic barbell bars with a 50mm loading diameter and with OB20 modular dumbbells.

When Powerlifting Metal Plates are used for exercises that involve contact with the ground, such as detachment from the ground, rubber floors with a minimum thickness of 20mm must be used.

The epoxy powder painting is also called "fire" or "oven", obtained by sprinkling the plates with colored pigment in the form of powder, thanks to an electrostatic charge the powder adheres firmly to the piece forming a uniform layer.
