Ideal for both beginners and experienced athletes, they effortlessly fit onto 50 mm loading pins, dumbbells, barbells, Clubline machines, and optional loading pins for the Pro Power Rack. This allows for gradual and precise increases in weight, a typical situation during rehabilitation processes or for a more gradual progression in training load.

Lacertosus Olympic Training Microplates come in typical Weightlifting and Cross Training sizes: 0.5 - 1 - 1.5 - 2 - 2.5 Kg, with a Powerlifting size of 1.25 Kg also available. According to many experts, this is not the best method for progressing in training. Yet in many cases, these weight jumps are the only possible way simply because the gym they attend or their own Home Gym does not have discs with micro-loads. To gradually improve strength, therefore, fractional plates or micro-loads come into play, which are all those small weights for barbells under 5 Kg.

We are talking about discs weighing 250 grams, 500 grams, 750 grams, 1 Kg, 1.25 Kg, 2 Kg, and 2.5 Kg. The possibility, therefore, is to increase the load lifted in a noticeable but steady manner, week by week, thus avoiding injuries and excessive weight jumps.
